HealthExpenseLog app for iPhone and iPad

HealthExpenseLog is a simple tool to log your medical expense & claims.

Almost every medical insurance plan in USA includes Copay, Deductible before Insurance Company pays your medical bill. And most of time, health care provider (hospital, doctor, lab, specialist, etc) will send a bill not exactly what you think it should be and many people end up with overdue medical payments.

More complicated is that most household in US would have a family plan to cover all the family members. The service date, provider, and billing information can be scattered, inaccurate, and lost between members.

To make sure that all medical expenses get paid every time and on time, use HealthExpenseLog on your mobile device to log the information about each doctor’s appointment including the name of the provider and the reason for the visit, and the total amount been charged for the service. This can be started by clicking the + button on the top right corner of the main screen.

On the same screen, you can then add the Copay(most likely be paid at the time of appointment), Deductible(most plan will have that), and the amount insurance paid for (need to check insurance company for the precise amount). The amount due for payment will be calculated based on the above payments.

At last, you can add a NOTE for any additional information for your service or just leave it as blank.

Once a new health expense log been added, the app will add it to the list on the screen. Quick tap on one row in the list will show a detailed expense card. Long tap on one row in the list will bring up a menu with edit/delete options. Tap the Edit icon will lead an edit screen to change anything you want. This screen s similar to the screen when add a new log. Tap the Delete icon will delete that log and bring you back to the main screen.

All user data is stored locally in your phone. 
User can not make payment to medical bill through the App.
